FAQs

Q: What is Trip360?
A: Run by adventure fanatics and crazy outdoor lovers, we have stepped in the big boy shoes to give you the adventure of a lifetime. We are part of the company that brought the group holiday phenomenon to the world. That's right; our parent company is none other than Cox and Kings, the longest established travel company on the planet - 259 years and counting! Pioneering as we are, we thought of putting all our knowledge together to curate some fantastic experiences for you.
Our in-house team and multiple partners around the globe add the much required expertise in delivering each and every trip. The local area knowledge and the real-life experiences offer the most awe-inspiring selection of trips. These trips could have authentic accommodation, exotic cuisine, local transport, and many different experiences to get you out of your comfort zone and face-to-face with the planet's people, cultures, landscapes and wildlife.

Q: Why should I choose tours by Trip360?

A: Someone once said, "Life begins outside your comfort zone."
We at Trip360 totally agree.
You should choose our trips if you're someone who seeks a 'real-life' travel experience. If you have a particular interest - be it culinary adventures, scuba diving, cycling, trekking, or motorbiking trips, look no further.

Q: Are these trips physically demanding?

A: Want to lie in a hammock beside a beach and go snorkelling at leisure? We have a trip for that.
Want to climb up a high altitude mountain? We have a trip for that too.
We have a huge range available from culinary adventures in some of the world's most beautiful places, to trekking in some of the most remote locations in the world. We have comfortable expedition cruises, long and tough motorbiking holidays and even weekend breaks from your city. To determine what type of trip suits you best, each of our trips comes with a Physical Rating to let you know how physically demanding it is…or isn't.

Q: Why style of trip is right for me?

A: You will need to be sufficiently fit if you want to rough it out on a really steep cycling trail or a high altitude trek in a remote location. The Physical Rating of such tours will be on the higher side. If you feel you're not ready for such tours, you could choose something easier, with a lower Physical Rating.

Q: How many people will travel with me?
A: We understand that adventure is all about being one with nature. We keep our group sizes low so there are fewer distractions, less noise, more fun and more personalisation. You can expect a maximum of 15 travellers on a trip. There will be a few exceptions of course.

Q: Are these tours operated by Trip360?
A: These trips are operated by Trip360 in association with our awesome local partners.

Q: What is the guide to people ratio?
A: This will vary based on the type and location of the trip. Each group would normally consist of a main group leader, local guides, and a luggage van or backup van. Check your trip notes section for more details.

Q: Is there any specific type of clothing/footwear recommended for this trip?
A: You ain't nothin' without your gear. Cycling is a sport which can be done without much equipment. However, to ensure your safety, you need to be wearing proper cycling equipment. Every trip has a bunch of stuff that we recommend you should carry. Check the notes section for the low-down.

Q: What type of accommodation will be provided?
A: We try and avoid the beaten path. In the quaint places we visit off the beaten track, we prefer to utilise the best of local resources like lodges, homestays, teahouses, etc. These unique accommodation options not only give you a much more localised experience, but also help the people of the area earn their livelihood.

Q: Where can I keep my luggage while on the trip?
A: This would depend on the type of trip you're going for. On some of our strenuous cycling trips, we would have a backup van or a luggage vehicle accompanying you and helping you carry your luggage. On some of our smaller day or half day cycling trips, you may have to carry your own rucksack. Check the trip notes section for details about that particular tour.

Q: Can I get my own cycle on this trip?
A: In most of our trips, we have included the cost of the cycle in the selling price. However, if you would prefer to use your own cycle for the trip, there shouldn't be a problem, provided you inform us in advance. That being said, you will have to take the responsibility of transporting your cycle to the starting point of the trip.

Q: Can I rent/buy cycling equipment?
A: It's nice to have your own equipment. However we understand that it's not always possible. Please look at our equipment section if you wish to rent/purchase any gear. Please do this well in advance to ensure that the equipment is delivered to you in time for the trip.

Q: What gear is included as a part of my trip?
A: We try and include a standard cycling helmet for all of our trips. However, that may not be the case for all the trips. Please read the inclusions section on the trip page carefully to find out what is included for a particular trip.

Q: How much distance do we cover per day?

A: Good question! Every one of our trips is unique and the riding distance will vary based on the difficulty level of the trip, the terrain etc. The per day riding distance for each trip is mentioned on the trip page.

Q: Will I have to carry any medication?
A: Our trip leaders are equipped to handle any first aid requirements. However, we would recommend you to carry any personal medication yourself.
